1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, browsing listings, or completing a booking on Proplinq, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Platform Overview

Proplinq is a technology marketplace platform that connects users with verified property owners, agents, and hospitality providers for shortlets, hotels, rentals, and property transactions.

Proplinq facilitates discovery, booking, and payment processes but is not the owner, landlord, or direct provider of listed properties.

3. Account Registration and Verification

Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating accounts.

All hosts, agents, and hospitality providers must complete identity verification (KYC) before listing properties or receiving payments.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Maintain account security
  • Accept responsibility for account activity
  • Notify Proplinq of unauthorized access

4. Listings and Content Standards

All listings must:

  • Accurately represent properties
  • Include real and current images
  • Reflect correct pricing and availability
  • Be posted only by authorized persons

Proplinq may review, reject, or remove listings that violate standards.

Users grant Proplinq a non-exclusive license to display and distribute listing content within the platform.

5. Listing Availability (Rental Rule)

Hosts must keep listings accurate at all times.

  • Unavailable properties must be marked "Rented"
  • Hosts are responsible for updating availability
  • Failure to comply may result in penalties or removal

6. Payments and Booking Model

6.1 Shortlets and Hotels

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers (e.g. Paylink).

Proplinq does not store or process card or bank details.

Funds may be held and released based on booking confirmation through payment partners.

6.2 Rentals and Property Sales

Payments are made directly between users and verified property owners or agents.

Proplinq does not handle these transactions.

7. Booking Protection

If a property significantly differs from its listing or access is denied, Proplinq may:

  • Assist with relocation (if available)
  • Issue refunds where fraud is confirmed
  • Suspend or penalize hosts

8. Refunds and Disputes

Refunds may apply in cases of:

  • Fraudulent listings
  • Misrepresentation
  • Failure to provide access

All disputes are reviewed through Proplinq's resolution process.

9. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • Provide false information
  • Engage in fraud
  • Bypass platform payments
  • Harass users
  • Upload malicious software
  • Violate laws

10. Host Enforcement

Violations may result in:

  • Listing removal
  • Suspension
  • Permanent ban
  • Financial penalties

11. User Responsibilities

Users must:

  • Verify listings before booking
  • Follow check-in instructions
  • Exercise reasonable caution

12. Limitation of Liability

Proplinq is a marketplace platform and does not own properties.

We are not liable for indirect damages arising from platform use.

13. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use means acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
